Description
Abdos Deep Well Plates are designed for handling larger sample volumes in high-throughput laboratory workflows. They are used when multiple samples need to be processed, mixed, stored, or extracted at the same time. These plates are commonly used for nucleic acid extraction, sample preparation, protein work, storage, and automated liquid handling applications. Each plate is molded to provide uniform well shape and volume for consistent results across all wells. The deeper well design (typically 1.2 mL to 2.2 mL depending on the model) allows efficient processing of higher sample volumes compared to standard microplates. Manufactured from USP Class VI medical-grade virgin polypropylene, the plates offer good chemical resistance and low binding properties, helping maintain sample integrity during chemical exposure and long storage periods. They are suitable for use with common laboratory reagents, including buffers, alcohols, and organic solvents used in extraction workflows. Abdos Deep Well Plates conform to SBS standard dimensions, making them compatible with most multi-channel pipettes, automated liquid handling systems, and nucleic acid extraction platforms.
