Description
The Swirl Maxi Microcentrifuge is a personal benchtop centrifuge designed for routine laboratory centrifugation applications. It is used for sedimentation of cells and viruses, separation of subcellular components, and isolation of macromolecules such as DNA, RNA, proteins, and lipids. It features a clear digital display that shows both speed (RPM) and relative centrifugal force (RCF). The unit operates with stable performance, low noise, and fast acceleration and deceleration. The Swirl Maxi is equipped with a brushless DC motor and an automatic lid-lock system to ensure safe operation and easy sample access. A pulse function allows quick short spins by pressing and holding the PULSE key. High-strength aluminum alloy rotors are fully autoclavable and can withstand steam sterilization at 121°C for 20 minutes.
