Position Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Area Sales Manager to drive and lead sales operations in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience in selling laboratory consumables (plastic) and benchtop equipment, along with a strong educational background in Microbiology or Biotechnology, to effectively manage customers and grow the regional market.
Key Responsibilities
- To Achieve / Monitor the Sales Target monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Key Account / Customer Development.
- Distributors Network Development.
- Sub-Dealers Network Development.
- Monitoring Competitor Activity.
- Motivate the Dealers and their sales team to generate the maximum business.
- Coordination Between Customer-Distributor-Company.
- Handle the customer & distributor’s complaints.
- The main responsibility is Secondary sales generation and converting into Primary sales.
- Promotional Activity of Products through Seminars and Road Shows in the Territory.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Zoology / Chemistry / Biochemistry / Life Science.
- Bachelors/ master’s in business administration, sales, or relevant field.
- Previous experience in technical sales
- Previous Life Science industry experience
